The Canyon Lake Noon Lions 2021 Shrimpfest Drive-Thru runs from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the CRRC Rec Center, 125 Mabel Jones Dr. in Canyon Lake.
The event sells out quickly, so don’t be late!
Tickets are $12 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. The meal includes fresh-boiled gulf shrimp, baked-potato salad, coleslaw, and cocktail and tartar sauces, all delivered to vehicles by masked, gloved Lions.
Cash, checks and credit cards accepted. Indoor seating is not available.
Lion Diane Schaule said there are three drive-thru lines, so there’s no waiting.
“Last October’s drive-thru Shrimpfest was so successful, we served 535 meals to our customers, which was a little short of our usual indoor dining,” she said. “We did have to sacrifice serving drinks and our famous homemade desserts for health reasons,” she said. “We do hope someday to bring back an inside sit-down meal to give friends and neighbors a chance to visit, enjoy the entertainment, and be present for the raffle.”
This year’s raffle prizes include a $250 Brookshire Brothers gift card, a $250 Lowe’s Market gift card, a $250 Visa gift card, and $250 lottery scratch-offs.
