May 6: North Side Canyon Lake Resident Tests Positive for COVID-19

Comal County confirmed two new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.

A resident in their 40s who lives on the north side of Canyon Lake is one of two new confirmed cases of COVID-19, Comal County said in a statement this morning.

A New Braunfels resident in their 70s also tested positive for the virus.

This brings the total number of positive cases in Comal County to 61.

The county also confirmed two additional recoveries, bringing that total to 44. With six deaths, the county has 11 active cases, one of which is hospitalized.

  • 2 from southwest Comal County
  • 1 from central Comal County

    I feel like like people should take the covid situation and think of it as a positive. All the money we spend on eating out can be saved and at $60.00 a pop for nails that adds up pretty quick also. Just take that money and throw it in a container everytime you would go out to eat and have your nails done. Just try it and see!! Can’t hurt
