Mayor Closes Bulverde Community Park

Share
Too many children were climbing on park equipment during the COVID-19 outbreak, Bulverde Mayor Bill Krawietz said today after closing Bulverde Community Park to the public.

Bulverde Mayor Bill Krawietz closed Bulverde Community Park, 29815 Bulverde Lane, to the public starting Tuesday, March 31, saying parents were letting children climb on playground equipment “in large numbers” and that walking trails are too difficult to police.

He said it was easier to simply barricade the entrance.
