Mothers Against Drug Driving Honors Prosecutor with Comal DA’s Office

Comal County Chief Civil Prosecutor Attorney Jessica Frazier received the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Service Award Tuesday, June 18 at the group’s  ‘Take the Wheel ‘Law Enforcement Recognition luncheon.

The Comal County Criminal District Attorney’s Office shared on social media that many other area officers and agencies in and around Comal County also were recognized for their efforts in keeping roadways safe from drunk drivers.

Frazier was honored for her “exceptional dedication and outstanding service” in the fight against drunk driving.

New Braunfels Police Department (NBPD) Officer Terry Flugrath and Comal County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) Deputy Simon Aquino received the Distinguished Enforcement Hero Award for making the most driving-while-intoxicated (DWI) arrests in their jurisdictions.

NBPD Officer Brian Delgado and CCSO deputies Harry Dawes and Nathaniel Deeely received Outstanding Service awards for going above and beyond in education, prevention, and enforcement.

‘Take the Wheel’ initiative is funded by a grant from the Texas Department of Transportation and is designed to raise awareness about the community commitment needed to stop drunk drivers.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving aims to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.
