Mountain Valley Beats Canyon Middle School

Mountain Valley continued their winning ways on Thursday with 11 unanswered runs in a win over Canyon Middle School, 11-1.

Mountain Valley heads into their next contest sporting an unblemished record (3-0) and will face off against Smithson Valley Middle School on Thursday, May 23.

CMS started this contest with a run to start the game, which would be the first deficit this season for a Hawk team that seems to be zoning in for a hopeful district championship.

Hayden Baker started for MVMS and struck out the side but would also give up two hits to go along with 2 walks that would have the Cougars with a one run advantage.

Two of those three strikeouts came on full counts that givs the casual fan an idea of how fortunate MV gave up just one run which had a chance of being a larger deficit.
