New Braunfels ISD Trustee John Tucker discusses the “negative impact” of Gov. Greg Abbott’s proposed school voucher bill on public school funding at the Democrats of Comal County’s monthly meeting, 6 p.m. Monday at Comal County’s Democratic Party headquarters, 1592 W. San Antonio St., New Braunfels.
Tucker, an architect with 30 years of experience in school construction, represents District 4 on the board.
He served on the board from 2020 to 2023 before reelection in a 2023 special election, and worked with Comal ISD on 2015 and 2017 bond programs.
