Membership
The Chamber works to bring increased business to New Braunfels, to create better connections for its members, to make members more visible to potential customers, and to help them work smarter. We strive to strengthen the local economy, promote the community, provide networking venues and opportunities, represent the interests of our members, and take action.
Economic Development is a major activity, with the Chamber staff responsible for tourism development and primary job recruitment, retention and expansion. The Convention and Visitors Bureau is composed of multiple committees and hundreds of volunteers. The New Braunfels Industrial Development Corporation (4B) contracts with the Chamber for professional services as does the Greater New Braunfels Economic Development Foundation, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation founded to lessen the burdens of government.
