On Tuesday, county hospitals reported caring for six COVID-19 patients. Of those, two are in intensive care and one is on a ventilator. None of these patients are vaccinated. Not all COVID-positive patients hospitalized in the county are necessarily county residents.

The Public Health Department is administering Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for those 18 and older, and Pfizer vaccines for anyone five years and up.
Those who are high risk and qualify for a third dose or a booster also can call to schedule an appointment for a vaccine.
