Overlook Park at Canyon Lake to Close July 21 for Maintenance

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Canyon Lake Manager Javier Pérez Ortiz said today Overlook Park will close Wednesday, July 21 for maintenance.

Contractors are scheduled to conduct repairs and work is expected to be completed in one day.

“We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding while this much needed maintenance work is accomplished,” Pérez Ortiz said.

Visitors can access the area by foot from the North Park Road entrance. However, parking is limited at that location.

The public is asked to stay clear of any active stripping operations while visiting the area.
