Overlook Park Closes March 29 for Maintenance, USACE Says

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said today that Overlook Park will close for maintenance on Monday, March 29.

Contractors are scheduled to be striping the area and work is expected to be completed in one day.

Visitors can access the area by foot from the North Park Road entrance; however, parking is very limited at that location.

They are advised to stay clear of any active stripping operations while visiting the area.

“We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding while this much needed maintenance work is accomplished,” said Canyon Lake Manager Javier E. Pérez Ortiz.

Overlook Park, 601 Coe Rd., Canyon Lake, is famous for its spectacular views and the walking trail over Canyon Lake Dam.
