Pilot Club of Canyon Lake will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a reception from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12 at Tye Preston Memorial Library, 16311 S. Access Rd.
The organization focuses on education about and service to survivors of traumatic brain injury but also serves the community in many other ways in Canyon Lake, including the CRRC of Canyon Lake, the annual Christmas parade in Sattler, and an Alzheimer’s walk in October.
Pilots were recognized at Commissioners Court Thursday, Sept.4, where their motto, “Do more. Care more. Be more” was shared with commissioners.
