Staff at Resolute Baptist Hospital will mark the facility’s 10-year anniversary with a special celebration in the lobby at 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 24, at 555 Creekside Crossing, New Braunfels.
Hospital milestones and achievements will be celebrated. Staff members who have cared for patients over the years will be honored. A 2014 time capsule will be unearthed.
In a statement, Natalie Guiterrez, manager of Operations Communications and Public Relations for the San Antonio-based Baptist Health System, said when the facility opened on 56 acres in 2014 there was nothing but farmland “as far as the eye could see.”
“Today, the hospital is surrounded by a bustling Creekside community of retailers, restaurants, apartments, condos and more,” she said. “When the hospital opened, the population in New Braunfels was 63,000. According to current data the population in 2024 has surpassed 117,000.
“Hospital leaders said they are proud to serve the growing tri-county area, including New Braunfels in Comal County, with vital health care services so that patients and their families have access to high-quality health care close to home.”
