The National Weather Service’s West Gulf River Forecast Center (WGRFC) warns forecast rainfall of up to three to four inches could produce higher flows and possible river flooding in areas in central and eastern Texas.
If thunderstorms form over areas that previously received rainfall, runoff and flooding are possible.
WGRFC works with federal, state and local government to provide timely and accurate river forecasts to protect life and property for most of the river drainage in Texas.
