Search Continues for Wimberley Man Last Seen Walking into Canyon Lake Near Boat Ramp #17

The search continues today for a missing Wimberley man last seen walking into Canyon Lake near Boat Ramp #17 around 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Comal County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Jennifer Smith said deputies received a call around 1:11 p.m.

CCSO, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and Canyon Lake Fire/EMS personnel are searching on boats for forty-seven-year-old Steven Johnson.

Divers from New Braunfels Fire Department were in the water yesterday.

An update is expected later today from Canyon Lake Fire/EMS.

Boat Ramp No. 17, also known as the Little Jacobs Creek ramp, is located on the north side of Canyon Lake right off FM 306.
