A small, single-engine plane crashed late Friday night in an open field near Westmeyer Road and Kroesche Lane, New Braunfels Fire Department said in a statement.
The plane went down near New Braunfels National Airport and the Stars and Stripes Drive-In Theatre.
Two survivors were transported to Resolute Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Texas Department of Public Safety and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating.
