SVHS, CHS Student-Athletes Sign National Letters of Intent

Nineteen student-athletes from Smithson Valley (SVHS) and Canyon high (CHS) schools signed national letters of intent today to play the sport of their choice at the collegiate level.

From CHS, five student-athletes signed letters. They include Blake Hollingshead, baseball, Midland College; Kyla Malone, volleyball, University of the Incarnate Word; Bella Mitchell, softball, University of New Mexico; Garrett Thiele, baseball, New Mexico Junior College; and Ariana Villanueva, volleyball, Hardin-Simmons University.

From SVHS, 14 student-athletes signed letters. They are Tim Arguello, baseball, Wichita State University; Brad Dildy, soccer, University of North Carolina at Charlotte; Julia Douglas, cross country, Morehead State University, Gabby Elliott, basketball, St. Mary’s University; Josalyn Keller, golf, Houston Baptist University, Isabella Kerr, rowing, Clemson University; Melyna Martinez, soccer, Angelo State University; Jaci Mesa, volleyball, Troy University; Sophia Padilla, golf, Concordia University Texas; Alexa Pyle, volleyball, Fordham University; Avery Truss, softball, Odessa College; Jonah Ulbricht, track, University of the Incarnate Word; Kasen Wells, baseball, Texas A&M University; and Rebekah Williams, volleyball, Louisiana Tech University.
