Take a DAM Fine Sunday Drive Across the Top of Canyon Dam

Ever wanted to drive across the top of Canyon Lake dam?
For the first and possibly only time ever, anyone who prepays a $10 entrance fee for the Third Annual DAM Fine Sunday Drive, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 18, is guaranteed an “expedited drive” across the dam. Those who purchase tickets day-of will be allowed to drive across on an as-available basis.
The fundraiser, sponsored by the DAM Community Alliance (DCA), supports projects benefiting the Canyon Lake community.
Collector cars will be showcased, but any vehicle can be entered for the drive. Afterward, participants will wind their way around Canyon Lake. All safety and health protocols will be observed. No political messaging will be allowed. Rain date is Oct. 25.
Comal County Commissioner Pct. 4 Jen Crownover created DCA in 2018 after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers closed Canyon Dam’s popular walkway after receiving a complaint that it violated federal rules for handicap access. DCA eventually reopened the road after securing local funding for necessary upgrades.
For the last two years, DCA sponsored a DAM Fine Car Show, which it changed to a drive this year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“In this strange year of change and difficulties, the DAM Community Alliance has determined that we will not cancel our popular fundraising event, the DAM Fine Car Show,” a post to damcommunityalliance.com said.
“Get your engines ready and your cars shined for a DAM Fine Sunday Drive.”
DCA’s mission is “uniting our Canyon Lake community and raising funds to restore and enrich access to the lake, the dam and the parks.”

I purchased a pass for the drive on the canyon lake dam but can’t find the ticket/pass.
