Learn how to appreciate nature and peacefully co-exist with wildlife at seminars by Kendalia Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation.

Three special programs aimed at children and teenagers are scheduled for the remainder of July.

Classes for the remained of the month include:

Appreciate Nature and Animals, for ages 6-10. Students will leave the workshop with a deeper understanding, compassion and respect for Nature and wildlife. Workshop attendees will create a bird feeder made from recycles materials and painting.

Human Impacts on the Ecosystem, for ages 11-14. Students will learn about the struggles native wildlife face on a daily basis; better understand threats to wildlife populations around the globe; discuss endangered species and hazards to their long-term survival; and create a reusable bird feeder and creative painting.

Coexist with Native Wildlife, for ages 8-12. Students will gain a greater understanding of the impacts humans have had on the ecosystem and how that has permanently affected native wildlife. Attendees will also create a reusable bird feeder and bird bath.
