Three New COVID-19 Cases Reported South of Canyon Lake on Monday

Residents wishing to be tested for COVID-19 can call the county’s dedicated hotline, 830-221- 1120, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to schedule an appointment. Testing is only done on Tuesday and Friday by appointment only.

Comal County reported eight new cases of COVID-19 today, three of them south of Canyon Lake, for a total of 3,709 since reporting began in March.

Of the eight cases, seven are confirmed and one is probable. The total number of deceased remains at 120.

The seven-day positivity rate for Monday is 6.14%.

In a statement, the county also reported seven recoveries from the virus, for a total of 3,491. The county now has 98 active, confirmed-and-probable COVID-19 cases. Of those, six are hospitalized.

Comal County hospitals on Monday reported caring for 10 COVID-19 cases. Seven patients are in intensive care and two are on ventilators.
