New Braunfels’ The Herald-Zeitung newspaper reports that people packed the Comal River on Saturday, and the rest of the Fourth of July weekend is expected to be just as busy.

Herald-Zeitung’s Molly Block reported that with patriotic swimsuits on and tubes in hand, river-goers from all around Texas flocked to the area this weekend to enjoy ideal floating conditions in both the Comal and Guadalupe Rivers.
