Tuesday’s Count: 39 Cases of COVID-19 in Comal County

Comal County on Tuesday, April 14, confirmed two new COVID-19 cases while removing a Kendall County case, bringing Comal County’s total to 39.
The patients are a Garden Ridge resident in their 60s, the first case in the city, and a person in their 40s from southwest Comal County. Both are home-isolated.
Upon further investigation of the case reported yesterday, the Office of Public Health learned the patient actually lives in Kendall County.
In addition, three more COVID-19 patients were listed as recovered based on guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, for a total of 19. With six deaths, the total number of active COVID-19 cases in Comal County is 14.
