Tuesday: Fourteen New Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Comal County

Residents wishing to be tested for COVID-19 can call the county’s dedicated hotline, 830-221-1120, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Comal County reported 14 new cases of COVID-19 today, and a seven-day positivity rate of 9.32%.

Four of the new cases of the virus are confirmed and 10 are probable.

In a statement, the county confirmed 100 active confirmed-and-probable COVID-19 cases, nine of them hospitalized. There were an additional 30 recoveries, for a total of 3,304.

On Tuesday, Comal County hospitals reported caring for eight COVID-19 patients; of those, four are in intensive care and one is on a ventilator. Not all of these patients are necessarily county residents; likewise, not all county residents hospitalized with COVID-19 are in Comal County hospitals
