USACE Closes Overlook Park Wednesday for Maintenance

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) Canyon Lake office will close Overlook Park on Wednesday, Oct. 13, for maintenance.
Contractors are scheduled to conduct repairs and work is expected to be completed in one day.
Visitors can access the area by foot from the North Park Road entrance.
However, parking is very limited at that location.
USACE asks the public to stay clear of any active stripping operations while visiting the area.
“We appreciate the public’s patience and understanding while this much-needed maintenance work is accomplished,” said Canyon Lake Manager Javier E. Pérez Ortiz.
