Members of VFW Post 8573 in Startzville will honor soldiers killed in battle by placing flags on graves in the Mountain Valley and Fischer cemeteries on Monday, March 29.
Veterans and volunteers will assemble at 9 a.m. at the post, located at 4625 River Road, Canyon Lake.
A ceremony follows at noon to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served afterward.
