Vibe Against Violence for Crisis Center
The second annual NB Peace, Love & Music Fest **Vibin Against Violence runs from noon to 6 p.m. April 27 at Billy’s Ice, 1193 Loop 337, New Braunfels.
The music jam and crawfish boil is a fundraiser for Crisis Center of Comal County (CCCC), which provides crisis and prevention services to victims. Funds raised support a youth and teen prevention program.
The non-profit said it’s looking for donations for its silent auction and raffle.
“The goal for our youth is to create a healthier childhood, free of abuse and neglect for youth in vulnerable families,” said CCCC Development Director Delia Saucedo. “We aim to assist parents through support groups, educational arrangements and activities that help parents to better support, engage, nurture and sustain healthy children. We believe that we have an opportunity to prevent dating violence and future forms of domestic violence, abuse, and neglect to reach our goal.”
