Want to #BigGive2020? Here’s a List of Area Nonprofits!

The 24-hour Big Give fundraiser for nonprofits kicked off at 12:01 a.m. and lots of Canyon Lake, New Braunfels, Spring Branch and Bulverde-area charities are counting on support from Comal County residents and businesses.

The Big Give is South Central Texas’ 24-hour online day of online giving. It ends at 11:59 p.m this evening, Sept. 10.

CRRC of Canyon Lake Development Director Maureen Schein said it’s a scientific fact that being generous activates a happy response.

“I won’t belabor the point too much,” she said. “People are turning to nonprofits for assistance. For resources. For hope. Nonprofits are people. They are people who are counting on other people. People like you.”
