Keep up with the Easter Jackrabbit!

He’ll be hopping all over Canyon Lake and surrounding environs this weekend. Here’s where to find him, along with a few choice golden eggs:

Friday, March 30 through Sunday, April 1

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Hill Country Easter Extravaganza Weekend, 12915 FM 306, Canyon Lake

So much to do, we’ll just link to the schedule here. Safe to say the weekend includes Easter egg hunts, decorating contest, cute spring crafts and an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast.

Easter Weekend at Schlitterbahn New Braunfels – 10 a.m., 305 W. Austin St., New Braunfels

Blastenhoff opens just in time for spectacular weather.

Saturday, March 31

Sattler Farmer’s Market’s Easter Market & Egg Hunt – 9 a.m. by the VFW, 14625 River Rd., Canyon Lake

Bring the kids to find eggs and pick up a few fresh carrots for Peter Rabbit, too. Hundreds of eggs, bounce house by Bounce Canyon Lake, face painting, bubble pool with jumbo bubble wands, games, prizes, Easter egg ornament craft, Easter photo props, silent auction and raffle, bean-bag board toss … and fun!

New Braunfels Family YMCA’s Hoppin’ into Family Time Easter Egg Hunt – 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at River’s Den Resort, 388 Saint Mary St., New Braunfels

EGGciting. Bring empty basket. Peter Piper Pizza, Advocare, Physicians Premier and other sponsors will make sure the kids have a great time.

Easter at the Shops at Faithville Park – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., 17130 Highway 46 W, Spring Branch

Includes photo opp with Rocky the Rabbit from noon to 3 p.m., BYOBasket for an interactive Easter egg hunt.

Did You Miss the Easter Bunny? – 10 a.m. to noon at The Purple Chair, 2302 Gruene Lake Dr., New Braunfels

The Easter Bunny — in a bookstore of all places — is waiting to take photos with kids. Bring the cameras and cell phones.

Easter Egg Hunt (includes eggs for Special-Needs Kids) 2018 – 11 a.m. First Baptist Church Canyon Lake, 13085 FM 306, Canyon Lake

Bring the family for a ton of fun, great food and maybe even a free gift card. Easter eggs will be adapted by attaching balloons, making it easier for kids to pick them up. Open to everyone.

Easter Egg Hunt & Kid’s Craft – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Spring Creek Gardens, 11355 U.S. Highway 281 North, Spring Branch

Easter egg hunt starts at 11 a.m. sharp. After the kids find all of the candy and toy-filled Easter eggs, they can stick around to make egg-carton chicks and bunnies. Treat and drinks. Note: Easter egg hunt for children ages three to eight only. Crafts open to all ages.

Bunny Hop Egg-Stravaganza – 3 to 5 p.m. Landa Park Recreation Center, 164 Landa Park Dr., New Braunfels

Spring to a hopping good time during this celebratory event. Bring a dozen room-temperature eggs for the kids to dye and decorate. Games and craft stations and of course photos with the Easter Bunny.

Community Easter Egg Hunt – 5 to 7 p.m. at Cowboys for Jesus (across from Canyon Lake High School), 8400 FM 32, Fischer

Fun and games, free egg hunt for kids 11 and under and a delicious, free hot-dog dinner.
