Whitewater Nominated for Award

Whitewater Music Ampitheater has been nominated as “Venue of the Year Medium Capacity” by the Academy of Country Music (ACM).

Winners will be announced on Aug. 22 at the 12th Annual ACM Honors in Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.

The ACM fosters high-quality entertainment through its annual awards show. ACM Honors™ is an evening dedicated to recognizing the special honorees and off-camera category winners from the Academy of Country Music Awards, including the Special Awards, Studio Recording, Industry Awards and Songwriter of the Year Award winners.

The trade group made the announcement about Whitewater on May 17, when it released names of nominees for industry award and studio-recording awards.

Whitewater on the Horseshoe will compete against The Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire; Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; The Greek Theater in Los Angeles; and The Wharf Ampitheater in Orange Beach, Alabama.
