Wurstfest Donates Water to CRRC, Distribution Continues Until 5 p.m. Sunday

Comal County Judge Sherman Krause delivered bottled water to the Community Resource and Recreation Center of Canyon Lake this morning.
Comal County Judge Sherman Krause loaded up four pallets of bottled water donated by Wurstfest this morning and headed to the Community Resource and Recreaton Center of Canyon Lake (CRRC) where water distribution continues until 5 p.m. today, Feb. 21.
CRRC said residents with one to two people in their househol will receive one case of water. Those with three or more get two cases until supplies run out.
Water distribution is first-come, first-served.
County commissioners Pct. 1 Donna Eccleston and Pct. 2 Scott Haag also helped to distribute water pallets.
CRRC also seeks donations to help Canyon Lake residents pay utility bills.
“With mom still not working and dad’s hours cut, that kind of money is a lot harder to come by,” CRRC said on Facebook.
