Thursday Nighters, a weekly fishing tournament for anglers from around the area, meets at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Canyon Lake Marina, 280 Marina Dr.
Takeoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The tournament ends at 10 p.m.
The bass-fishing tournament kicked off March 17 and runs Thursday nights through July 28. The event is open to the public.
The entry fee is $50/boat. There is a one-time $10 annual membership fee. Payment is cash only.
Participants can win up to $5,000 in Skeeter real money.
Participants over the age of 17 must have a valid fishing license.
