The 8th Annual Dam Fine Car Show rolls across Canyon Lake Dam from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19.
The show is open to “anything cool with an engine.”
This year’s car-and-truck show is at North Park, 3203 N. Park Rd., across the dam from Overlook Park.
Enjoy food and drinks, special vendors, driving video games like Back Bumper Bullseye and the Go and Whoa, tire-change drag races, and a cruise across the mile-long dam.
Registration gates open at 10 a.m. Gates open at noon for spectators. Show and judging follow from noon to 2:30 p.m. Awards will be handed out at 3 p.m. The public can drive across the dam beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5 per person. Free admission for children 10 and under.
Canyon Lake High School’s Ag Mechanics Team cut the metal for this year’s show awards.
The fundraiser supports the Dam Community Alliance, the official nonprofit partner of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Canyon Lake office. All proceeds benefit Canyon Lake parks and the community.
