Canyon Lake Marina is teasing plans to open a new restaurant that would replace Breakwater Grill & Cantina, which struggled for several years before closing for good in 2025.
On social media the marina, located at 280 Marina, did not provide specifics but announced a new name, Canyon Lake Cantina, and promised “good times” and “great views.”
Employees declined to provide further information but hiring is underway for the new facility.
Boat Ramp #19 — one of only two still open on Canyon Lake — is owned and operated by the marina, which features a ship’s store, service center, wet slips and dry storage, a boat club, and boat rentals.
