Canyon, Comal and Cranes Mill parks in Canyon Lake switched to off-season hours Oct. 1.
Hours of operation through October are now 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily with last entry at 4:30 p.m.
These parks will close Oct. 31 and reopen March 31, 2027.
Swim Beach 1 in Canyon Park closed Sept. 30. Areas 2, 3 and 4 are still open.
These parks are operated by the Water Oriented District of Comal County (WORD), not the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
