Comal County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputies discovered the body of an adult male in Canyon Lake near Canyon Lake Marina/Canyon Park around 10:45 a.m. today.
They were responding to a report of a deceased person in the water near Canyon Park Road on the north side of Canyon Lake, CCSO Public Information Officer Shawn Trevino said in a statement.
There is no reason to believe there is any danger or ongoing threat to the community, he said, but did not provide additional details.
Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD), Canyon Lake Fire/EMS and Comal County constables assisted with the recovery of the body.
