Canyon Lake resident Theodore James Lewis, 63, was arrested Wednesday on felony drug charges after members of the Comal County Narcotics Unit, the Comal County K9 Unit and Comal County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a search warrant in the 700 block of La Cresta in Canyon Lake and discovered “a significant amount of narcotics.”
In a statement today, CCSO said drugs seized include:
- 5.9 ounces of crystal methamphetamine
- 19.70 grams of heroin
- 9.4 grams of psilocybin
- 5.4 ounces of marijuana
- 5.30 grams of Percocet (fentanyl pills)
- 6.8 grams of THC pills
- 12.7 grams of an unknown white substance (suspected raw fentanyl)
- 12.90 grams of an unknown brown powdery substance (suspected DMT)
Lewis was arrested on an active warrant for the manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. The warrant stemmed from a previous narcotics investigation.
Additional charges are pending.
According to public records, the Canyon Lake man has a lengthy arrest record, including numerous traffic citations. The district attorney’s office pre-filed several cases for alleged drug possession in January and May 2024.
Lewis is currently in the Comal County jail. No bond has been set.
CCSO said the investigation is ongoing.
