Canyon Lake Man Out on Bond after Arrest for Drugs, Guns

A Canyon Lake man has bonded out of Comal County Jail after Comal County sheriff deputies arrested him for drug possession Friday.

Randy Wayne Lofton, 46, was arrested after a search warrant was executed in the 800 block of Canyon Bend, Canyon Lake.

The Comal County Narcotics Unit, Comal County K9 Unit and the Comal County SWAT Team discovered a significant amount of narcotics and weapons including 1.5 pounds of marijuana, 256 grams of psilocybin, 401 grams of methamphetamine, 17 grams of various pills and two firearms.

Lofton now faces two felony charges for the manufacture and delivery of controlled substances.

In a statement, the Comal County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) congratulated itself for its dedication to the safety and well-being of the community.

  1. Truly miss living in CanyonLake,Tx. I’m sorry I ever moved out. Wish I could find a place that except Section 8

    • The government doesnt offer section 8 housing at canyon lake. Its smart not to move there. It has become alot more dangerous then some of San Antonios housing projects and the police only there to serve warrants or they park and wait to pull over a familiar vehicle they previously encountered I recently moved from there.
