Celebrating a Major Milestone on Highway 46

Mayor Helen Hays and Council Members Ted Hawkins and Jason Krawietz joined the Texas Department of Transportation, Bulverde Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce, community leaders, project partners, and residents this morning to celebrate the opening of the expanded State Highway 46 roadway.

“Today, we’re not just cutting a ribbon on Highway 46. We’re opening a road that’s going to change how this community moves, grows, and connects for decades to come.”
—Mayor Helen Hays

The expanded roadway will help improve mobility, safety, and connectivity for residents, businesses, and visitors throughout the Bulverde and Spring Branch area.

The City of Bulverde was glad to join in recognizing this important milestone and extends its appreciation to TxDOT, the Chamber, contractors, project partners, and community members whose work and patience helped move the project forward.
