Comal County Reports 189 New COVID-19 Cases in Weekly Report

Comal County reported 189 new COVID-19 cases for the seven days between Aug. 26-Sept. 1.

In its weekly report the county said five COVID-positive patients were hospitalized over the seven-day data collection period.

No new deaths were reported. The total number of deceased remains 565.

The total number of cases reported in the county is now 35,335.

Some 62.35% of residents are fully vaccinated (two shots). Data for the percentage of fully vaccinated residents now includes all residents ages six months and older.
