Comal County Reports 22 New COVID-19 Cases, Confirms Death of Spring Branch Man in His 50s

Comal County reported 22 new COVID-19 cases today and confirmed the Dec. 31, 2021 death of a Spring Branch man in his 50s who died at an out-of-state hospital.

The total number of COVID-19 cases reported since March 2020 now stands at 30,586. The total number of deceased is 544.

Only one COVID-positive resident is currently hospitalized with the virus. There are no COVID patients in the ICU or on ventilators.

Some 63.99% of county residents are vaccinated.
