Comal County Reports 25 New COVID-19 Cases, Confirms Death of New Braunfels Man

Comal County reported 25 new COVID-19 cases today and confirmed the death of a New Braunfels man in his 70s who died at home on March 19.

The total number of COVID cases reported since March 2020 is 30,678. The number of deceased is now 546.

On Wednesday, county hospitals report caring for one COVID-positive patient.

Some 64.06% of county residents are fully vaccinated (two shots) against the virus.

Public Health is administering Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for those 18 and older and Pfizer vaccines for anyone ages five and up. Booster shots also are available.
