Comal County Reports 27 New COVID-19 Cases Tuesday

Comal County reported 27 new COVID-19 cases today.

No hospitalizations were reported.

The total number of cases reported since March 2020 is now 30,653. The number of deceased remains 545.

Some 64.05% of county residents are fully vaccinated (two shots) against the virus.

Starting Friday, Public Information Officer Cary Zay said the county will transition from daily to weekly COVID reports. The first weekly report will appear on April 8. To track daily cases visit co.comal.tx.us. The county’s COVID-19 dashboard is updated daily.

Public Health is administering Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for those 18 and older and Pfizer vaccines for anyone five years and up. Booster vaccines also are available.
