Comal County Reports 389 New COVID-19 Cases Monday, 54 Hospitalizations

Comal County reported 389 new COVID-19 cases today, bringing the total to 27,407 since March 2020.

No deaths were reported today. The number of deceased remains 496.

On Monday, Comal County hospitals reported caring for 54 COVID-19 patients. Of those 10 are in intensive care and five are on ventilators. Approximately 77% of these patients are unvaccinated. Not all of these patients are necessarily Comal County residents.

Some 62.83% of county residents are fully vaccinated (two shots).

The county is administering Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for those 18 and older and Pfizer vaccines for anyone five years and older. Booster vaccines also are available.
