Comal County Reports Two COVID-19 Deaths, 53 New Cases

Comal County reported the COVID-19 deaths of two residents and 53 new cases in its weekly report for April 29 through Thursday, May 5.

Some 64.68% of residents are fully vaccinated (two shots).

The total number of cases reported since March 2020 now stands at 30,899. The total number of deceased is 551.

No hospitalizations are reported.

The Health Department is administering Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for those 18 years and older and Pfizer vaccines for anyone five years and up. Booster vaccines also are available.
