Canyon Lake firefighters and paramedics work for Emergency Services Districts (ESDs) No. 2 and No. 3.

Comal County spokesperson Cary Zayas said emails circulating at the local and state levels that appear to come from presidents of emergency services districts (ESDs) are spam.

“If you receive an email like this, please do not open it,” she said.

The county’s seven ESDs provide fire and emergency medical services in unincorporated parts of the county. The Canyon Lake area is served by ESD No. 2 and ESD No. 3.
