County Reports 143 New COVID-19 Cases, Four Hospitalizations

Comal County reported 143 new cases of COVID-19 and four hospitalizations for the seven days between May 20-26.

No new deaths were reported.

The total number of cases reported since March 2020 now stands at 31,240. The total number of deceased remains 551.

Some 64.96% of county residents are fully vaccinated (two shots).

The county is administering Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for those 18 and older, and Pfizer vaccines for anyone five years and older. Booster vaccines also are available.
