CRRC Challenges Canyon Lake Residents to Donate 100 Food Items During Hunger Action Month

CRRC of Canyon Lake kicked off Hunger Action Month today by challenging residents to each donate 100 food items to the Food Pantry.

To join the newly minted 100 Club, drop off donations at the Food Pantry, 1917 FM 2673 in Canyon Lake, or shop online with CRRC’s Amazon Wish List.

Most-needed items include:

  • Breakfast Items: Cereal, oatmeal and breakfast bars
  • Canned Veggies: Corn, green beans and mixed vegetables
  • Soups: Hearty canned soups, stews and chilis
  • Snack Foods: Crackers, granola bars and fruit snacks
  • PB&J

Comal County Commissioners Court will designate September Hunger Action Month at its regular meeting Thursday.

CRRC provides vital social services and life-enriching opportunities to increase community wellness by building connections, offering resources, and providing support.
