Early Voting Begins Monday for May 26 Primary Runoff Election

Early voting for the May 26 primary runoff election runs from Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 22.

Canyon Lake voters will decide between Republican Magistrate Judge Susan ‘Susie’ Patterson and Republican incumbent Tom Clark for Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace.

Other candidates vying for a spot on the Nov. 3 Uniform Election ballot include:

  • Democrats Vikki Goodwin and Marcos Isaias Velez, running for Texas Lieutenant Governor
  • Democrats Joe Jaworski and Nathan Johnson, running for Texas Attorney General
  • Republicans Mayes Middleton and Chip Roy, running for Texas Attorney General
  • Republicans Bo French and Jim Wright, running for Tezas Railroad Commissioner
  • Republicans Alison Fox and Thomas Smith, running for Texas Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 3

Polls will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at these locations:

  • Mammen Family Public Library, 131 Bulverde Crossing, Bulverde
  • Comal County Offices, Church Hill Annex Training Room, 1345 Church Hill Dr., New Braunfels
  • Comal County Offices, Bulverde Annex, JP #2 Courtroom, 30470 Cougar Bend, Bulverde
  • St. Francis by the Lake Episcopal Church, 121 Spring Mountain Dr., Canyon Lake
  • Garden Ridge City Hall, Municipal Court Room, 9400 Municipal Parkway, Garden Ridge

Tuesday, May 26 is the last day to receive a ballot by mail.

Voters who cast ballots in the March 3 Primary Election cannot switch parties in the runoff.
