The 88th Texas Legislature is considering bills related to marijuana. Of particular interest to our April speaker is HB1805 which will expand the use of medical marijuana.
Major David Bass served for 25 years in the U.S. Army. He was deployed to both Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He returned with PTSD. Join us to hear from David about his journey from traditional medical treatment to finding success with medical cannabis. He is now an advocate for veterans nationwide and an activist for medical marijuana here in Texas.
David served as Director of Veteran Outreach for Texas NORML from 2013 to 2021. (Texas NORML is a chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.) In 2015, David founded Texas Veterans for Medical Marijuana.
