Weather permitting, TXDOT contractors will perform geotechnical surveys this week on FM 306 from River Chase to Maricopa drives.
Traffic control will be managed one-lane, two-way, with flaggers from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
“They are aware of school traffic at Mountain Valley Elementary School and are planning to survey these locations mid-day, off-peak times,” said Comal County Pct. 4 Commissioner Jen Crownover.
New Braunfels Utilities advises drivers to also be aware of one-mile lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. along IH-35 northbound from Exit 180-FM 1103 and Schwab Road to Exit 193-FM 306 and Kohlenberg.
The utility said closures of the left lane and shoulder on are due to illumination repairs and will last through Friday.

I have looked for information on todays, 02/21/23 one lane closure that begins at FM 2673 heading west bound, this lane closure extends for miles, creating 1-2 hour wait time for traffic. There was no notice and no available information on how long this will last or what type of construction is going on.
