Comal and Canyon parks on Canyon Lake move into their extended operating hours effective Wednesday, April 1.
At Canyon Park, located at 1178 Comal Park Rd. on the north side of Canyon Lake, visitors can launch vessels from Boat Ramp #18 or walk across the water bridge to catch the view from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily.
Last entrance is 6 p.m.
If a gate attendant is not on duty, visitors can pay using ParkMobile.
Both boat ramps are closed at Comal Park, located at 1769 Canyon Park Rd. on the south side of Canyon Lake, but visitors can get outside and enjoy the hiking trail and swim beach from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Last entry is at 6 p.m.
Both parks are operated by WORD of Comal County.
